We’re easy to find

Topsham is easy to reach by road and public transport, and also makes an excellent gateway to exploring other areas of Devon, as well as the Jurassic Coast, World Heritage site.

To plan your journey, you can visit traveline.info for lots of options.

By  Bike

Topsham is located on the Exe Estuary Trail section of National Cycle Network (NCN) Route 2, with convenient access to routes on both sides of the Exe.

By Train

The Exeter-Exmouth train runs half-hourly all day to/from Exeter St David’s and Exeter Central. Trains alternately go on to Paignton and Barnstaple.

By Car

There are a number of car parks in Topsham. However, as a small Devon town there is a limited amount of parking. We always recommend leaving your car at home and using public transport or bike where possible. Topsham does have a hire by the hour or day car club service too, with a parking space in Tappers Close. This is part of a wider network of cars across Exeter.

By Sea

For a very useful guide, see Exmouth and River Exe (including Topsham) at visitmyharbour.com. Entrance to the Exe Estuary is quite tricky and tide-critical.

By Air

Topsham is just 4 miles from Exeter International Airport
